Job Title: Engineering Manager – Operations

An established aerospace technology company based in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a highly qualified Mechanical Engineer for the role of Engineering Manager – Operations. This is a key hands on leadership position responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, driving business development efforts, and ensuring compliance with aerospace industry standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 10 years of direct experience in the Aerospace MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) industry.
Hands-on experience in aerospace manufacturing.
Prior experience working in an FAA-certified repair station is required.
Must be eligible to work in the US.
Position Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with FAA and other regulatory agency requirements, including FAR Part 145 (Repair Station) and FAA-PMA Part 21 regulations.
Lead and manage daily operations, including engineering, production, sales, and marketing functions.
Serve as the Accountable Manager within the first year, assuming regulatory oversight for the repair station.
Design and develop tooling solutions to support current and future repair needs.
Utilize solid modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks or similar) for design and engineering purposes.
Supervise and mentor technical staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Enforce safety policies and maintain a strong culture of compliance with safety standards.
Drive sales growth and develop strategic customer relationships.
Coordinate and execute planning, project management, and workflow optimization.
