Role Description
This is a full-time, remote role for a Charter Sales Representative (Part 135). You will be responsible for managing the complete charter sales cycle—from initial inquiry and lead qualification to fulfillment and post-flight services. A successful candidate will effectively manage inventory availability for private jet charters, meet sales targets, and provide expert advice and support to potential and existing clients. You must demonstrate high motivation for selling, top-notch presentation skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Revenue: Manage charter sales inquiries, identify opportunities, and close deals to meet or exceed sales quotas.
- Relationship Management: Develop and maintain retail and wholesale client relationships; foster industry connections to generate new business.
- Inventory & Quoting: Effectively manage fleet inventory availability and utilize JetInsight and Avinode to provide prompt, accurate pricing.
- Client Concierge: Handle incoming customer service requests, including the arrangement of hotel accommodations, catering, and ground transportation to ensure a flawless flight experience.
- Market Strategy: Monitor aircraft charter boards to determine if company aircraft positioning meets client needs; outsource flights when necessary to ensure profitability.
- Operations & Compliance: Ensure all pre-trip policies and FAA/Part 135 regulations are strictly followed prior to departure.
- Post-Flight Care: Follow up with clients post-trip to ensure satisfaction and maintain timely, professional communication.
Requirements
- Industry Expertise: Direct experience working for a Part 135 Charter Operator or national Charter Service Provider is required.
- Sales Background: 2 to 5+ years of sales experience in private aviation or charter sales.
- Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with JetInsight and Avinode is highly preferred.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional phone demeanor.
- Results-Driven: Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Aviation, or a related field is preferred.
- Availability: Must be willing to carry a mobile phone and be accessible 24/7 as needed to support flight operations.
